On October 11, Afripoli had the privilege to take part in the inspiring event “Africa – Not Just a Continent,” organized by iStar, a platform affiliated with the Czech political party Mayors and Independents (STAN). The conference brought together decision-makers, experts, and businesses eager to engage with Africa’s fast-changing landscape and growing importance in global affairs.

Representing Afripoli, our Director Vojtěch Bílý and Founder Petr Boháček shared our vision and ambitions for the continent. Their message was clear: Africa is not only a continent rich in resources and cultural diversity but also a place of profound transformation and opportunity. Afripoli stands ready to help Czech and European businesses unlock this potential.

Petr Boháček introduced our bold roadmap for local presence through the establishment of physical branches under the Afripoli umbrella: Afripoli East (Uganda), Afripoli West (Senegal), and Afripoli Central (Cameroon). These regional hubs will enable us to be closer to our partners, better understand local needs, and provide tailor-made solutions directly on the ground.

Vojtěch Bílý highlighted that many West African nations are undergoing a renaissance of identity and self-determination, rethinking decades-old structures and seeking new partnerships. “Without colonial baggage and with an open, partnership-driven approach, we are well positioned to offer solutions that resonate with Africa’s ambitions,” he noted.

Afripoli remains committed to being more than just a business facilitator. We aim to be a trusted integration partner and enabler of long-term value creation, connecting African opportunities with Czech innovation and industrial know-how.
