We are pleased to announce the release of Afripoli’s 2024 Annual Report — a comprehensive look at a transformative year that firmly positioned us as a trusted partner for strategic collaboration between Europe and Africa.
Launched in early 2024, Afripoli established itself as a dedicated think tank and business intelligence platform focused exclusively on Africa. Since then, we’ve made significant progress in shaping equitable partnerships, unlocking opportunities, and expanding our local presence across the continent.
What we accomplished in 2024
- We secured our first clients and funding streams, enabling long-term sustainability and growth.
- Our analysts delivered tailored market intelligence and strategic assessments across West, Central, and East Africa — including in Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Togo, Gabon, DR Congo, Rwanda, Ghana, Cameroon, and Uganda.
- We grew our international team with 14 external experts and 17 interns, many of them from African countries.
- We conducted field visits to deepen local insight and build trusted relationships with stakeholders on the ground.
- We initiated plans for permanent offices in Dakar, Abidjan, Libreville, Kampala, and Kigali.
Throughout the year, Afripoli participated in major events organized by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, think tanks like iSTAR, and partners such as Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, strengthening our role as a connector between European expertise and African priorities.
Looking ahead to 2025
In 2025, we are focused on turning groundwork into tangible partnerships. Key priorities include:
- Opening our West Africa regional office (Dakar/Abidjan) to coordinate local projects and support clients on the ground.
- Launching Afripoli Briefs, a new series of concise market insights that highlight real-time opportunities across key African sectors.
- Organizing expert and networking events in both Africa and Europe to promote dialogue, share findings, and build communities of practice.
- Expanding our client base across sectors including energy, defense, and healthcare.
- Deepening partnerships with local think tanks, chambers of commerce, and universities.
We remain committed to building long-term, practical, and fair partnerships that create value for all involved. Whether through market intelligence, stakeholder mapping, or project facilitation, Afripoli is here to support forward-looking organizations navigating the African business landscape.
